Do you accept returns?
Please note that as a small, at-home business whose aim is to support our artists, we endeavour to avoid returns wherever possible so please purchase with thought and care.
For in person sales, all sales are final when made in person at the gallery or during one of our events.For online sales, if you are not happy with your artwork, please contact us (hello@southovergallery.com) within 7 days of receiving it. We will then discuss the issue and process a refund, if necessary, once it has been returned safely back to us.
Please note that customers are required to pay for return shipping and the artworks remains your responsibility until we receive it back at our studio.
After we receive the item, we will inspect it and process your refund. The money will be refunded to the original payment method you have used for the purchase. For credit card payments it may take 5 to 10 business days for a refund to show up on your credit card statement.
If the product is damaged in any way, or you have initiated the return after 15 days have passed, you will not be eligible for a refund. -
How do you ship items?
We will endeavour to ship sales within 7 working days from the point of sale, unless otherwise advised.
We always advise shipping items fully insured and with tracking via either Royal Mail (UK) Parcel Force (UK Larger or more high value items) or www.transartbox.com for US shipments.
If you owe additional shipping after checkout, we will email you to discuss. -
Do you ship internationally?
We ship our stock throughout the UK and internationally.
If you are an international buyer, we will email you after the point of sale to request your additional shipping fees based on the delivery address.
International shipments may be liable for customs and importation duties which will be the recipient’s responsibility to pay.

What packaging do you use?
We believe in reusing gently used packaging which is the most sustainable, planet-friendly and cost-effective route for us as a small, family-run business.
Our packaging may not always look swanky-new on arrival but we know that within minutes, your treasure will be happily unwrapped and the packaging likely disgarded. We would encourage you to reuse our packaging again wherever possible.
All our items will be packaged to fully protect the pieces inside and international painting sales require a custom fit box by www.transartbox.com which will be added to your total shipping cost.

When can I visit the gallery?
Our gallery is situated in our home so we are not open for walk ins. We run dedicated pop up events, open days and can also offer private views of our current collections by request. Please email hello@southovergallery to arrange a viewing and stay tuned to our Instagram and Newsletter to stay in the know of future open days.

How can I exhibit my work with you?
We hand pick our curation of artists and works from all over the UK, with a special interest in supporting the work of artists local to East Sussex. The artists work we show aligns with our overall aesthetic for the gallery.
